My… Words To Our Youth would be: Keep an open and inquisitive mind, so as to explore the World around you! You may just find yourself in the middle of nowhere on a deserted, isolated beach in Baja on a moonless night, standing in ankle deep warm water with tiny, gentle, brilliant white waves of Noctiluca lapping on your ankles and a Billion star Milky Way overhead. This very shallow bay with ribbons of white light for as far as you can see, ebbing and flowing. Curiosity overtakes you and you put your hand down in the sand, making a small hole. You sense an excitement as you shake your hand and wonder if maybe you can catch some of this “pixie dust”. As I pulled my hand out of the warm water, it was covered with what seemed like a billion dots of light! But something in me kept raising my hand until it was above my head… and there my hand DISSAPEARED into the twinkling multitude of stars overhead. I thought “Am I here, or Am I there….I really am a part of it All…” That is the sort of epiphany life and this Earth can give you!
NASA Exhibit Specialist – Graphics & Exhibit Branch
As an Exhibit Specialist at NASA’s Ames Research Center in California, I was given the responsibility for designing the display pedestal that would best and securley show off one of the first NASA’s Moon Rocks. I received my security clearance and was given personal possession of this Moon Rock, that had been retrieved by a human hand while on the Moon and brought back to Earth!
It was the Biggest Public Attraction of the 1976 USA/San Francisco Bicentennial Event!
Now I have this amazing, authentic Total Solar Eclipse image that I photographed and its Universal Message…

Edith Head – Universal Studios
Edith Head, the only 8 time Academy Award Oscar Winner in a life reflecting moment after a gala event, capturing her seated on a stage showing her elegant gown designs, 8 Oscars and her, in a moment of lifetime reflection! She responded back to me with a letter saying,
“I do so appreciated your sending me the photograph, and I think it is very unusual and full of feeling, in fact to me, it is one of the best pictures I have ever had. I assure you that I will enjoy looking at the picture as much as you enjoyed making it.”

Edith Head was also, probably the inspirational model for Brad Bird’s Edna Mode in The Incredibles Movies
